for the past 8 years, we have been going to orlando florida for disneyworld. i mean that was the whole point of purchasing the timeshare when ariana was born. I think ariana is out of the princess phase, the last was Anna & Elsa. she made this "deal" with us - i'll go to hawaii unless we stay at disney aulani. funny she keeps reminding us that its because of her why we're on the islands. guess you have to give credit where credit is due, right? we had a late checkout 12:00 noon since our flight wasnt until 2:30. this time we got positive space tickets to honolulu. i didnt want to deal going on standby even though hawaiian air has flights every half hour. byron and i wore shorts & sandals, it was great not having to dress business casual. ariana chose her disney mickey safari dress. she is more comfortable in a dress vs shorts/pants. she picked the sperry topsider shoes which are really comfortable too. see there are no jetways to the planes at kona airport. the gates are outside, and you have to walk out to the plane and climb the stairs to board. i'm thinking we might stay here next year and just relax at the resort all week - without going on circle island tour.
