Rose Gold

ariana has been wanting to wear this sweatshirt from her forever21 shopping spree in november. not wanting to wear pants, its a good thing she remembered buying a pink faux suede skirt to go with it. three things to top off today:
1. received report card for first semester
2. filipino club asked her to audition for talent show
3. received high scores for "ancient india" presentation

Cold Shoulders

the cold shoulder hole is the latest thing in fashion. i was very skeptical in letting ariana wear this chevron tunic to school due to the dress code. but she told me girls wear them and the hole is bigger and drops down lower. maybe this is a good thing i ordered a size 10/12 from miabelle.com. either its running small or thats how it should be for girls. at the last minute ariana grabbed a cat ears headband - this one coming from gymboree. meow!

Winter Warmup

finally getting a break from all the winter storms - and hoping to hit almost 60 degrees with sunshine. ariana was so relieved not to wear pants, sweater, jacket and boots. shes wearing her favorite dress from h&m, leggings and toms.

Purple Heart

i happened to go to kohls - not really shopping in the girls deparment, and managed to pick out this hoodie top. you cant tell - but shes wearing purple pants to match the heart. plus she gets to sport the newest suede boots from gap.

Pink & Gray Plaid

this dress is from gap where it reminds me of burberry print, its a thin flannel cotton material. whenever ariana has an outfit that matches the pink MK michael kors purse - she poses with it.

Grade A

coming off a 4-day weekend is hard trying to get back into routine. this grade A shirt came from gap.

Legos

 to get out of the house with a break from the rain, i took ariana to a lego exhibit.

Curry 3

add another pair of kicks to arianas collection - this time the curry3 in white. size 5 boys. i guess it helps to have an older brother that keeps up with the latest. the white sc3 in kids size were released in november. ariana got a white curry jersey to match as well, but waiting for the weather to warm up.

Pink Rose

because of the cold weather, i have been ordering long sleeve sweaters from gap online. it doesnt help with all the sales and coupon codes. this one looks like it has gold polka dots, where its actually another layer with silver threaded hearts. found another top to go with these rose flowered pants (costco).

Poncho Up

this sweater poncho is a gift from our new neighbor & carpool buddy. i had to give up one of my long sleeve shirts - as ariana grew out of size 8 and 10s. worn with her favorite jeggings and costco-uggs. cat ear headbands are ariana favorite accessory - these gold ones actually came from gymboree.

Twelfth Day of Xmas

good things must come to an end. one goes up - must come down. Three Kings was actually yesterday January 6th, but some family and churches are celebrating up until this sunday. i wanted to take it down last week by garbage day pickup and before B goes back to work. byron adores this tree and enjoys looking at each ornament every night, and he talked me into leaving it up until three kings. believe me - its alot faster taking it down than putting it up. the bare tree will sit in the living room til tues, now that garbage day is on wednesday. thanks for josh coming over and sticking it in the green bin, as i had all the needles to sweep up.

Three Kings

with this weather - it has been all pants to school lately. its the pink plaid pants from h&m, where ariana had one sweatshirt to go with it. now this "yeah" sweater from target is the perfect match. chestnut ugg-like boots from costco.
ariana woke up to a trail of holiday mini kitkats, although i thought they were matchbox hotwheel cars. it lead to a gift underneath the tree - a nintendo 3ds game. today is Three Kings - marking the end of celebrating christmas and Emma da elf's departure back to the north pole. most elves leave on xmas eve with santa, but Emma stays and goes by our family tradition until January 6th.

Watermelon Plaid

this shirt is from gap and called "watermelon plaid". there isnt a single fruit on it - so it must be the colors (pink, green, black). the buttonholes arent the easiest to do (change for pe), put a black top on and used as a jacket. emma showed up with footie pajamas. a "nana" (thats what the family calls her) cable knit mug and a donut squishie.

Gotta Go (Poop)

oh that emma! we found her on the toilet with a pink poop emoji pillow. and a holiday cupcake squishie too.

Back to School

oh this was hard - being off for 2 weeks going to bed late and sleeping in every morning. back to same routine - wake up 7:00, ariana gets dressed, eats breakfast while i make lunch. she washes face & brush teeth - as i do her hair. get backpack and purse - out the door for 8 o'clock carpool. i'm already counting down to MLK 4-day weekend. ariana is wearing a gap disney line sweater with a blinged up mickey ears.

Ear-Rings the New Year

we had ariana ears pierced by the pediatrician when she was 6 moonths old. at 5 years old, she didnt like the idea of taking earrings on & off. so for the longest time, we thought the holes had closed. then for the wedding, we realized she could wear earrings now and she wants to pierce jade's ears as well. off to the american girl store, along with a giftcard she received. thats gabriela  - the 2017 girl of the year. ariana already has 3 AG dolls - and in no way is interested in another. dad feels a little bit safer going into the ag store - knowing he doesnt have to fork out money for a $120 doll.

HNY Cheers Card

well i wasnt able to make the christmas card deadline - only because i was waiting for the wedding photographers okay. i used a family picture of us, and the photographer caught one of them "jumping the broom" at the wedding. on the back of the card, i used photos from warriors filipino heriate night. left - november 2016 taken with curry's mvp trophies. right - march 2016 when ariana & likha filipino dance troupe performed at halftime.
