5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1... "I am JANET JACKSON" 7th grade core class project where you read an auto/biography book of a famous person. then recite a 2 minute summary and dress up. Ariana chose to read the book True You, Janet Jackson.
Hat - purchased it from Nordstrom last chance in Arizona to wear. for the 1814 pin - cut out a piece of cardboard, wrapped it in foil, then filled in the negatives with a black sharpie.
Shoes - boots from DSW. Pants - leggings in her closet.
Earrings - silver hoop earrings. used a spare key from Lola's house. again made 1814 on cardboard wrapped in foil and sharpied it.
Gloves - moms pair of black leather Coach gloves.
Jacket - originally planned on buying a leather jacket. ended up using a moto jacket. sewed some scrapbooking embellishments on backward. ordered the 1814 pin from etsy online.
Hollywood star - 2 black poster boards taped together. red embossed scrapbooking paper pieced together to make the star. lettering and logo made using the cricut machine.
Microphone. took a build-a-bear button and recorded the intro "5,4,3,2,1...". taped it on top of mic.
